Engineering Design Process

Infrastructure constructions often requires several engineered sealing solutions. A sealing system is often decisive in the design of the interface of constructions, engineered flexible solutions are often a must to protect the integrity and functioning of structures. Sealing and dampening the interface between the construction elements can be very time consuming and complex to solve when not having the expertise in house. We do know by experience that design teams often end with uncertainties and a closed loop thinking around engineered sealing solutions. This may lead to overtime, re-engineering, complex and thereby costly sealing solutions.

The earlier we are involved in the design process the more effective we can assist in your sealing challenges and perform cost engineering. We ensure you have the engineered sealing design which fits your boundary conditions and is ensured of a proper sealing technique at lowest possible cost. We are able to step in the design process of new projects, but we also do refurbishment projects and we can act as 2nd opinion engineering check on the sealing design.

We are familiar with today’s tight sealing regulations and have the inhouse experience and knowledge to assist you in these challenging sealing requirements. Our background is in mechanical engineering, we always think in the challenges you have in your mechanical and dynamic systems. We ensure the sealing solutions will in all times benefit your drive systems and thereby reducing energy, fatigue, wear or overloading the drive system. We prefer to be involved in the conceptual design phase, this often leads to more cost effective solutions for e.g. your mechanical drive systems.
